SOUND OF GHETTO PARIS

Logobi is the obvious next step in the evolution on the Coupe Decale sound. It's the child of the marriage between Kuduro attitude adapted in France and Coupe Decale's Soukous snare pattern. It's a constant conversation between diaspora and homeland. These kids are trying to make their own voice in this international conversation. I could remember raving to garage in early 98 and being excited about the development of "Grime".....that was our voice in london. Whats nice is that the kids in paris haven't forgotten their cultural heritage and still have that african dance & sound incorperated in the music.
