IT WAS ALL ABOUT A RELOAD

This is a classic moment in grime history with some big names in the building like wiley, dizzee and maxwell d. I could remember when i was 16 going to garage raves with so solid, pays as you go and masters of the ceremony on the line up. Garage derived from the jungle scene during the 90's and then so solid came along and took garage to a darker place. The scene lived in south london for a while until wiley came along moved the scene to east london and created a distinctive sound at 140 bpm  and called it grime. I used to love going to all the eskimo dances in Area(watford) but i soon became board of the sausage fests and the likely hood of arms(a fight) breaking out.
